Wolfendale Transport LTD is a family owned and operated business founded in the 1960s by Jack Wolfendale. Jack managed the businesses for many years, working as the sole owner and driver. Over time, Jack hired more drivers and acquired more vehicles, growing Wolfendale Transport LTD into a successful haulage company specialising in Hiab or crane mounted vehicle haulage services.
His sons, John and Paul Wolfendale, later joined the company and have pioneered the expansion of the Wolfendale Transport LTD into other sectors of the haulage industry. John and Paul are still currently involved in daily operations and share the position of company director. Together they now have over 25 years of haulage expertise and are dedicated to furthering the success of the transportation company their father founded.
Wolfendale Transport LTD specialises in Hiab haulage but has diverged over the years to offer curtain sided vehicles of all sizes, vehicles suited to transporting hazardous goods and waste, abnormal load movement solutions, truck mounted forklifts and Hiabs offering self offload solutions.
We currently offer such a varied array of transport solutions that we are able to offer services to all industries. We have the resources to deal with businesses of all sizes.

Health and Safety
We consider health and safety our top priority. Each of our operators possesses CPCS, ALLIMI and NPORS qualifications and are HAZ compliant. Our drivers attend a Safe Urban Driving scheme with a primary focus on health and safety and diligence to vulnerable road users. They also receive ongoing training and adhere to CPC periodic training.
Our equipment undergoes daily inspections. In addition, all our lifting equipment is subject to inspection from an independent lifting company every 6 to 12 months, to meet the highest LOLLER standard. We are committed to maintaining, upgrading, and replacing our vehicles as necessary, so that our customers can rest assured they are in safe hands.
